Enabling Exploration of Survey Data on COVID-19 Impact in the US

Keshif utilized the results from the expansive COVID Impact Survey, conducted by NORC at the University of Chicago, to produce two analysis pieces that were published in prominent mental health and data visualization mediums.

Impact

The first analysis focuses on the impact of the pandemic in mental health, and how the public's adherence to health recommendations can help slow a pandemic, like mask-wearing and social distancing, and how factors like age and region can play a part in following these guidelines. The second analysis provides a data-focused article on approaches to survey data analysis, and demonstrates how different perspectives can impact the messages a visualization conveys.
